The Reason I Started & The Purpose of What I Do
Before the trends, there was a DESIRE.
Somewhere along the way, you forget why you started doing what you’re doing. Somewhere, you get so caught up in the outcome, the expectations, the results… that you lose sight of the reason you began.
You forget that what you have now is exactly what you wished for years ago.
And without even realizing it, your vision, your process - has evolved, and most likely leveled up.
But that evolution came with a price.
Why did you start this?
Why are you doing it in the first place?
That right there is the answer to almost everything.
Moreover, it’s probably the only motivation you'll ever really need.
I’m doing it because I LOVE IT.
Not for the money. Not for the fame. Not for the social status that might come along with it..
Years ago, after countless hours of studying, trial and error and experimenting with different fields and mediums, I discovered something : One of the most powerful, fast, and almost invisible mediums for self-expression - for healing, for contributing to the world, for letting your voice be heard is visual Communication.
It’s a medium that can truly shift….the world around us- mine, yours, anyone who feels connected to it.
Think of tattoos. Think of painting, Films, Anime, Cartoons, And so on.
In that sense and for these reasons and many more... I do it. And you should too.
AI-generated imagery?
Sure - sometimes, when necessary and required by work. But for personal expression? For creating from scratch? Let’s go back in time and ask Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Vermeer...
Or better yet, ask it to compose a classical masterpiece like Beethoven, Vivaldi, Bach, or Amadeus Mozart once did.
It could never truly create that. And even if it did… it would be shallow. A Superficial Intelligence. Its creation is nothing more than ones and zeros - an imitation driven by big data. It lacks the soul of true art. But again, art is subjective. A banana duct-taped to a wall could be a piece of art or a pair of glasses which is accidentally dropped on the floor could be an art installation.
With the absence of a meaningful, truthful, directed messages, it loses the honesty and authenticity that define a brand’s voice - or the voice of the person behind the message. Think about it as if you’re talking just to talk… just to attract, sell, promote - but not to deliver a meaning, not to share your core concepts and what you stand for.
And we know why that happens.. Some keywords ? Cash, money, Dollars, Euros.. profits, mass production, capitalism. And so on.. "In my opinion, that's one of the many factors that can distinguish a successful, authentic brand from others merely trying to keep up with current trends, consistent production, maintaining brand existence and of course high sales. Consistency is definitely a major key for a brand growth- but so are meaning and authenticity, which are, once again, irreplaceable components of a true brand.
AI Is a powerful complimentary helpful tool
There is absolutely no doubt that AI is a powerful and productive tool when used wisely to maximize efficiency and bridge the gap in many mundane, time-consuming tasks.
It’s such an exciting time to be alive. Let us not forget without life and all that it offers - including the teaching of great previous masters and the ones still living today - We wouldn’t be able to do any of this, or even get a glimpse of where we’re truly headed.
With all the knowledge and information available in our hands right now... it’s incredibly overwhelming….. inspiring, chaotic, curiosity provoking, mind blowing and most definitely encouraging.
